Concrete Slabs
Concrete slabs come in may shapes and sizes with different colours and textures – whether you want a decorative finish or a very plain industrial look. Light and standard duty concrete slabs are generally profiled at: Light Duty – 32mm to 38mm thick, and Standard Duty – 50mm thick.
There are two acceptable methods of laying flags – individual bedded and screed bedded. There are other methods such as spot-bedding and ring-bedding but these are not considered suitable for any professional paving project. The choice of laying methods depends on the personal preference of the contractor/specifier and the types of flags being used.
